I love this image of Death. This guy is so ordinary, maybe a little sleazy. If he didn't have this job, he might be selling used cars or stuff he found in a celeb's trash. Until now we have built Death up as a big dramatic superhorror. The cloak without a face, the eerily antique farming tool, the grinning skeleton dragging off popes, nuns, peasants, whoever. Not quite real, like talking wolves and ogres. Here we see Death as the Utterly Ordinary, a Death we can live with.

Looks like that's a wedding band on Mr. Deity's finger. How come we never see Mrs. Deity?
