1975 Pilatus "Porter" PC6 C-H2 Turbo Prop departs Campbell Field Airport (9VG) on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter, a highly robust multipurpose aircraft that is extremely economical to fly and maintain. Its excellent short take-off and landing capabilities (STOL) allow it to operate in environments which are inaccessible to many other aircraft.

Aircraft required used about 400 feet for this landing.

  • @chr1st1an20061 service ceiling: 8,197 m (25,000 ft)

  • whats the highest these planes can fly at ?

  • Amazing STOL plane, one of the best ever created, but I've taken craps that look better than the Porter

  • when he was approaching he was almost at stall speed, in a pc6 that equals a ridiculously short landing, especially with reverse thrust.

  • nothing lands that qwickly.

  • it IS real

  • that the biggest rc plain i hever ever seen...it sounds almost real.

  • This is the one I'd post comment on wanted to see. I love this model. thanks for posting.
