Why didn't 99% of the elevators work in the Trade Center that day? I'll tell you. But more questions will be raised. How was all the lower level damage done? Why floor 22 where coincidentally the Security Control Center was? (See 27:30 ) And why wasn't that obvious road of questioning followed by investigators other than "TRUTHERS" like me?

Many thanks to NK44 and MirageMemories for the English translation at

NIST clips, Port Authority radio transcripts, dozens of witnesses help describe the plan to disable the firefighting effort, to keep the cover story alive: FIRE induced collapse.

Then the official investigations totally ignored the evidence for bombs. Totally ignored the elevator investigation. Here's audio, video, photographic proof... when viewed with the architectural drawings and a good understanding of the elevator system.

Only construction/maintenance rode the 50 car. (At 0:20 we are seeing the 6 or 7 car, long before 9/11.)

I'm sorry but the slide speed between information is terrible. How do you expect people to consume the information your stating when the video and it's contents ie text is basically on fast forward even when trying to pause it at certain spots is painful! Personally I think you need to re-edit it, otherwise your going to lose the audience.

    Shame.

Thanks for the input. I will consider re-editing with longer text times.

According to ASME 17.1 Safety Code, only elevators in seismic risk zones 2 or greater must have seismic sensors. New York: zone 1. The NIST report says "seismic switches in elevators in seismic zones are designed to detect the earthquake and cause the system to stop, move the car in the direction away from the counterweight to the next floor, stop and open the landing doors." Next paragraph: Door restrictors were "a safety device required on all new elevators and retrofit on existing elevators."

Thanks for that info! More questions now. How old was that video? Besides: 12-14 inches, not! That was regular sway with wind. Also, I still want to know why the 22nd floor SCC was damaged, elevators blown open! Or B-4, B-2, and the lobby, for that matter. Sentient jet fuel?

Right, the water was in the basement before the planes hit. Nobody but one person saw thousands of gallons of water in the basement and on the concourse but it MUST be true if some truther says so, yeah right....

From Barbara Honegger (former analyst at the Pentagon), a high body count was necessary! I also heard Willie Rodriguez, who worked at WTC for over 20 years!!! He saw the basement full of water and after the fact, put 2 and 2 together and got 4!!! Evidently, as part of his work there, he has a knowledge of the sprinkler system and that the water had to have been accumulating way before any planes hit! So couldn't have been the plane......... Things that SHOULD make you go. Hmmmmm!

The explanation is in the video "World Trade Center Elevator Installation" about 9:30 in, where it's explained the cars will shut down if the building sways more than 12 to 14 inches.

Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, the standpipes of sprinkler systems above the impacts zones may have been compromised by a random airliner hitting them? Otherwise they worked, infact so well that they flooded the basement and parts of the concourse level and staircases.

You are right, bypass can usually only be done in the MER or by remote interface in a control room. Fire bypass does only set the cabin to full manual control, but does not mess with vital safety interlocks. It only brings the car back to service and gives the firefighter full control over the door. For example, when the car arrives at a floor in fire mode, the door stays shut and can be opened in steps to not expose the firefighter to a blaze in case he hits a fire floor and the doors fully open

It is like asking me if I have a source for the WTC having fuse panels. I do not, yet common sense tells you they where there somewhere as they were an integral part of the overall system. It is the same with interlocks and seismic sensors on elevators. Certain types of buildings need them regardless of code or place they are build on.

I already did by telling you every elevator in extreme highrises need them to work properly. It is not a question of code although most building codes mention them, they just would not be safe to use and be damaged whenever strong sway would occur. The WTC had to have them, steel frame high rise constructions are most susceptible to wind sway. There is no way around not them. Ask a local elevator company if you don´t believe me.

That does not answer my question.

Ok, I understand. You have nothing to back-up your claims and that's the reason why you still playing here the beat around the bush game. Thank you. That was all. Move on.

As I said, highrise elevators NEED sway detectors regardless of earthquake zones. In an earthquake zone every building with an elevator has to have them regardless of height. Please keep in mind, I am an architect from Germany and I am only familiar with our codes. US codes may be different, but sway detectors in high rise buildings are a worldwide feature with decades of use.
