New Ground Control Suspension put to the test on a cliff road covered in gravel in places. Absolute Monster! ITS FAST AND ULTRA DANGEROUS I SWEAR!

To give you an idea of speed: 2nd gear gets to 90kph, 3rd to 130kph. Hitting the first switchbacks at 150+ in 4th. Watch for the slow bits where the brakes fade and also where the gravel is extra deep.

Genuine 1987 M325i. Full M-Tech 1 with LSD, black headliner, 15inch weaves, you know the deal.

  • Hey dude, good run and nice quality work. I think you could have pushed a bit harder but it is a public road and you need to watch for bikers, peoples and animals etc so I see you were being cautious. Nice drift at 6:15 and the last few, although it was a close shave on that car man.. Must upload some of my runs up here some time, just need a decent camera setup.

  • @ndog37 What the camera doesn't show is the gravel all over the road (in case of ice, recorded in July) especially for the first 2mins, was deep! so most of the video I'm trying to keep the car in 2 narrow groves of grip, while going as fast as possible, it was really as fast as you could make an E30 go! (without killing a biker etc) until the brakes start fading 5 mins in haha.. Will make a fast summer one soon..

  • Love the video, Nice driving. Quick question though, the 'ground control suspension' you mention, is that the full coilover kit? Or the coilover conversion? Thanks.

  • @wannabie3 It's the full kit with the mounts and camber/caster plates etc. 350f/550r rates on the springs. (rear rate is effectively half of 550 for those who don't know e30 suspension)

  • @dMonsterE30b

Okay, thanks. That would have set you back a bit.

  • @wannabie3 They actually have very good prices considering the quality of the stuff they make, it's really top notch. Every coilover kit I've seen for my friend's japanese cars just has such a cheap feel to it. I landed it in NZ for around $3000 NZD.
