Response to 'Keating Economics' Video

My immediate reaction to Obama's 'Keating Economics' video trashing McCain's judgement. I talk about how Obama is wrong on some counts and hypocritical on others.

Your just tossing aside his criminal allegation because he was cleared is humorous. How can anyone take you seriously if you cant see the problems John McCain has to his creditbility due to his involvement with Mr. Keating. John McCain was involved with Mr. Keating enough that he was investigated, they may not have been able to PROVE any malfeasance. That does not mean he wasnt guilty.Maybe John McCain had a good attorney like OJ.

The worst McCain did was accept campaign contributions from the guy. He did not enable Keating's actions. Under your logic, every individual that was ever tried and cleared in a court of law isn't necessarily innocent because guilt could not be proven. This review of the Senate Ethics Committee is not comparable to OJ's murder trial, because there WASN'T much circumstantial evidence: like I said, just campaign contributions. Your whole argument is full of 'maybe's.

Way to miss the point. John McCain' Credibility is/can/and should be questioned when it comes to his dealings with the economy. Nowhere in my argument did i state anything so grandiose about every legal case. McCain was under investigation. The Senate Ethics Committee cleared him. You were likely 3 yrs old when it happened, You cant know he wasnt hiding evidence anymore than the SEC. Unless you have information NO one

but John McCain would know. You cant make the valid claim he didnt lie.

Way to miss MY point. YOU can't know he was hiding evidence anymore than the SEC. YOU can't make the valid claim he DID lie. I was actually one year away from being born during the scandal, but that doesn't mean I can't do my research. Would you have to be an adult during the Revolutionary War to be considered knowlegable of the time period? There was no decicive evidence found, and very little circumstancial evidence at the time. This case ceased to be relevant back in 1989.

Now I'm an American Indian from Alaska, and my father had to endure the "No Natives" signs posted in public places. Even up here we had to endure this within my father/grandfather's life time. We have come a long way for the equity of ALL Americans, but this hate mongering from McCain/Palin is irrresponsible. Sure enough..a story was run today about a man who owned a parking lot posting a sign saying "no one allowed with Obama bumper stickers on."

I sympathize with what your grandfather and father must have gone through, but I fail to see what relevance this has to ANYTHING McCain or Palin are doing. They have not once brought up Obama's race, so I fail to see how they are "hate mongering."

Are you really this naive? OJ Simpson was cleared of all charges in his double murder cases. YET circumstanctial evidence pointed toward his involvement.

Where is your evidence that he deliberately tried to protect Keating? Taxpayers would not have been saved $3 billion if McCain was not involved-- remember, it was the Keating 5.

The "domestic terrorist" that Palin was referring to is William Ayers, who is white. The only ones playing the race card in this election is the Obama campaign and the media.

McCain showed a little of bad judgement? Give me a break. He deliberately tried to protect Keating! This little bad judgement caused tax payers $3B dollars.  I too am scared about this economy. What scares me more is McCain/Palin are willing to use the last bit of racism in America to win. Last week I saw Palin doing her "domestic terrorist" thing and I knew what was next was the audience getting riled up, I also knew that it would spill out of those rallies and that scared me. continued.
