I remember the actress in this scene, Catherine Schell, promoting the film on talk shows. She said many scenes required repeated takes because she, the other cast members and the crew would break up at Sellers' improvs.

Guy Gadbois sounds IDENTICAL to Christopher Lambert, especially when he's laughing.

One of the funniest scenes EVER in any movie EVER produced. He was so funny, she couldn't do this take without laughing. I remember reading on this back in the early 80's and they said they did this scene multiple times but she got worse with every scene. That my friends is comedy. Peter Sellers was incredible in the entire series.
