I have nearly the same setups with the same can, to be honest its the quietest and best sounding with 6.8SPC, with the 308 a close runner up. Definitely buy the compensator muzzle brake mounts vs the flash hider ones. Wish they would make a brake for 308 in 5/8x24

What kind of ammo and weight grain of bullet are you using, for each caliber? That is, are you using sub-sonic, full power factory, etc.

hey there thats awesome, just bought the titanium 7.62 QD and waitin for the form 3 to come in. Out of both the round how far away from the shooter do you think it would take before you couldnt really hear the shot? Im lookin to do some huntin with it and that info would really help. thanks man and nice can.

Im not sure, I guess it would depend on how many noise blocking obstacles were in-between shooter and target. Chances are that if the animal does hear it, it won't be able to tell which way it came from. Check your state laws before using a suppressor to hunt, as it is prohibited in some states. Congrats on the purchase, it is a great can. Now you get to sit back and wait about 6 months or more.

Both were supersonic. The 308 was 168 gr federal gold metal match I believe, and the 5.56 was 55 gr cheapo pmc I think. Subsonic the 308 sounds like a pellet gun
