World Of Martial Arts Part 2

Another video I compiled from various training dvds/videos. This one focuses on the awesome art of American Kenpo. I'm making part 4 and will have it up in a few days. That one will feature MMA.

If U want to see practical Kenpo...goto the BKf Kenpo system! By the way...Steve Sanders Muhammad was noted and quoted as having the fastest hands in Kenpo.

They talk about this being such a devastating system, but the training is "dead". Hold still so I can hit you! Fall and play dead.

U r half right, dynagirl63... The system is good and powerful, buy the way they show it here and in exhibits seems like "Hold still so I can hit you! Fall and play dead". It's effective though when using it to defend yourself.

stiLLa2000, what you are talking about is Karate as a sport, not as self defence, there is a difference.

I do enjoy watching a bunch of keyboard warriors criticizing a martial art they apparently know little about from behind the safety of a monitor.
True martial artists do not show such disrespect.
William Kwai Sun "Thunderbolt" Chow created Kenpo as a modern "hybrid" martial art based on the street fights he witnessed growing up in Hawaii.
Much like Bruce Lee, Sifu Chow was an innovator, emphasizing combat effectiveness over sport and tradition.

I totally agree with you. So many keyboard warriors aka internet gladiators these days haha especially on youtube.

I bet half these guys criticizing never stepped in a dojo and the other half spent a grand total of 3.5 months in a kick boxing class.

There is no superior martial art, only superior martial artists.

please do not put down my senior grandmasters art,as we all have our diffrent arts and i respect that, but if you think for one second that american kenpo will not work on the street then my friends you are truly under the wrong illusion, and do not understand our art, remember to see is to be decieved.
