Loretta Napoleoni on "Rogue Economics: Capitalism's New Reality"
Italian economist, journalist and author Loretta Napoleoni argues that recent events on Wall Street indicate a much larger upheaval and could "signal the end of the 'Roaring Nineties,' nearly two decades of easy money, cheap credit, and soaring global debt." It's an argument Napoleoni develops in her latest book called Rogue Economics: Capitalism's New Reality. [includes rush transcript]

  • Capitalism is the legitimate racket of the ruling class Al Capone

  • @smoochym Your head is up your ass. America is owned by big business, you obviously buy into the program, that makes you either rich or stupid.

  • @smoochym Wow, what a nutcase. What's most remarkable is that people who aren't humanist and feel no empathy for those who may have troubles in life or may have been born in an inferior socioeconomic position, those who feel nothing usually consider themselves the most just and religious people in the world. It's scary how the U.S. has so many people who feel nothing but distrust and indifference toward one another. Talk about being "United."

  • Read "Cornered" by Barry C Lynn, or look him up on youtube.

  • @smoochym The nanny state protects business, and not consumers. The economic system is rigged to protect monopolies and not free enterprise. The governments job is to protect its population ie employees and consumers against the worst abuses of capitalism. Capitalism in its unregulated form is not the kind of world you are used to seeing, but you are more likely wealthy so you would rather spit on the poor begging on the street than pay a nickle of taxes.

  • @ Smoochym Your opinion is absurd!

    If people have to work.

Its better people work for the good of all. To serve the need of the people, Not to serve the needs of one or a group of individuals who's desire is to become rich and powerful so they can have control over the land, resources and the people.

Money is why we are in a recession, people are out of jobs and homeless.

    Free is Freedom.

Money is Debt , taxes and consensual servitude to a ruling class.

  • The Venus Project lets make it happen for the betterment of humankind.
