  • Yes, Baris Manco - Donence ( Barış Manço - Dönence )

  • Thank You

  • @therantingboy for sure, his newest film is his most commercial, and least serious (autoreiji or outrage). i didnt like it as much as others but it was still fun. i enjoyed the lack of pretension

  • @InstrumentalityOne This is one of Kitano's funnier films. It's still fairly uncomfortable viewing in places. His films tend to be a mix of zen calm, punctuated with violence and humour. A lot of essays on his earlier works talk about the influence of existentialism and zen buddhism. Kitano was/is a comedian in Japan too (Takeshi's Castle?) If you haven't seen Sonatine and Hana-Bi, those really are the ones to do next. Probably his most commecial film is Brother which has american actors in it.

  • I just watched this film and I don´t know how to feel about it.

It was interesting enough and it squeezed out a few smirks out of me, but I really was confused.

  • @uploadahAkse you may have your answer if you scroll up
