Special: IRT R142 (3) train at Saratoga Avenue! In Service!

The R142 is on the (3)! First time its in service! With the exception of Testing during the early 2000s when the R142 was in testing!

The (3) is ONLY running the R142 due to a General Order Detour(May 29 to June 1, 2009) between Crown Hts- Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue, which the (3) runs in two sections: Between 148th- Harlem/Lenox Terminal and Utica avenue~ And From Utica Avenue to New Lots Avenue(As a Shuttle Train, but same old (3) ). Only 2 sets of the R142s were in service for the (3), shared by its east side cousin the (4).

@azar7834 Before u post comments do ur research the R62 and R62As are scheduled for retirement to 2026 the R62 came into service 1983-1985 on the 4 and the R62A came into service 1985-1986 on the 1,3 and 6 lines so please dont post what you dont know.
