  • QUESTION; once u lock in the triangle ,do u always release the leg,to put both hands on the head??

  • Nope. You generally don't want to put both hands on the head. If possible, underhook the opponent's free arm.

  • great jiujitsu, thanks for the upload!

  • it's gotta be frustrating as hell rolling with Ryan

  • nice to see the setup in action

  • Dear Ryan,

Thank-you for this little trick I use it all the time. Hip bump post triangle!

  • Sick setup for that triangle. Your inverted guard stuff is great too, but I wish you popularize it! I can't pass that thing ever!!! Damn you to hell Ryan Hall!

  • lol niiice. Triangles are my signature move...I like that set up..you bait him with the bump sweep so that you can get your leg over the arm...niiice...Def gonna try that in class.

  • Hey ryan what's up man? I shook your hand at the Pan Ams 09. I was the white dude with glasses. That move (the hip bump variation to make the person post their arm) has become a bread and butter triangle setup for me. It's a wonderful setup that works a high percentage of the time. Good work man.

  • damn that was sick! i would love to train with him.

  • nice job! u really get those guys in ur upside down triangles, really impressive. [im trying to work on my upsidedown guard]
