I'm a freshman here, and I already know this: you will find community here if you make an effort. There are amazing people here. Some of them will come to you, but if you go out and talk to new people yourself, you will make good friends very quickly. At lots of schools, it's easy to feel left out and difficult to "fit in." Here, it's exactly the opposite.

Out of all the schools that were recruiting our son to play football, Northwestern stayed at the top of his list. We are very pleased that he signed with the Red Raiders............see you all in April

If you really wanted to show the "real" Northwestern, you should have had some people offer a different viewpoint. Not all alum felt the sense of community discussed here...or loved obligatory chapel.
