I just did not feel the need for looking for markers, and neither did I have to waste time walking off to get an estimate for my shots. Simple operation, especially the drag and drop flag feature, allowed me to estimate my targets rather easily.

I had to spend some time when the Garmin Approach G5 arrived to download all the latest courses, as the one I purchased just did not have the latest list. But once I downloaded it and sped off to a nearby golf course, I didnt have any trouble using this device. The Garmin Approach G5 is just an easy-to-use GPS.

Overall, I found the Garmin device easy to use especially when I had to clear a hazard or get onto the green. Probably, it is to find out the distance to the pin, where Garmin Approach G5 falls a bit short. Otherwise, it rocks.
