yes and it shud leave out spirituality. theres always gunna b unhappiness to some degree but to base policy on emotion is wat leads to witch hunts and ded ends politicly. spirituality is best at home.

As it is, democracy concept does not include spirituality, but espouses secularism, rationalism as though everything in nature is rational and logical all the time as our thinkers have made out rationalism and logic to be. But democracies have large chunks of unhappiness. The majorities from which they derive their authority are easily manipulable since anyway only a few individuals among them are really capable of thinking originally.

Noam Chomsky has said the US does not exemplify democracy, that it is a terrorist state, that the mass media control people's thought process, or something to that effect. These thoughts may be taken up to proceed to thinking up an alternative to democracy. Concld. in the next.
