Upset man throws equipment, later tasered

Victoria resident Paul Pritchard shot this video of a man acting erratically at Vancouver International Airport on October 14, 2007. This is a short clip that shows the man, Robert Dziekanski, throwing computer equipment and furniture. The police arrived soon after, applied a conducted energy weapon (of the Taser brand), and the man died soon after.

the guy was supposed to sit quietly for 12 hours after his 10hour flight with nobody to tell him whats going on. but the guy shouldnt of started throwing stuff, and the cops shouldnt of tazed him 3 times so i guess its just a all around fucked up situation. the cops should lose there jobs and get jail time. its obvious they used to much force they killed him in like 5 minutes and there was 4 of them. im from bc i hope im never drunk and losing my temper i could get killed for it. seriously

Police brutality at airports is out of control! This is similar to the police beating of the girl at Reagan National Airport in DC except she suffered brain damage and is still alive. My thoughts and prayers go out to Robert Dziekanski's family.

That's 10 hours stuck in immigration AFTER a 13 HOUR flight. Me, I would probably have gone bonkered.
