"Retrohead Five" - Retro City Rampage Remix

I've known Virt since '98... and in all this time, this is actually my first (completed) remix of his work. Good stuff. Made for the Retro City Rampage remix competition at http://retrocityrampage.com. I didn't win (5th place), but I had a ton of fun making this. Got my Virt on baby.

Stylistically this is an home to famous tracker Basehead, of Five Musicians, an epic tracker group back in the day. His work inspired me a lot when I was starting out, and since this is a retro game, I thought it'd be appropriate to go a little retro with the style.

Fun fact: I actually met Basehead once, and it was at a Virt chiptune concert in Los Angeles. Serendipity, eh?
