  • Do the patients not qualify for free health care since they are elderly? And if that is the case, then why should cost be an issue?

  • The medication classes highlighted in your video are available in generic forms and therefore least expensive. The fact that patients were seeing a physician leads one to believe they did have a form of insurance or source of funding. Did patients choose not to purchase medications or were they truely lacking resources to pay for them? With inexpensive forms of meds and more insurance resources now than ever, it is difficult to understand why this continues to be an issue.
