Filtering our 2009 Sparkling dry Zinfandel! Discussing the pros and cons of filtration on wine. With sparkling wine, it's almost a must to filter. Filtering wine loses color and body, but gains clarity in the aromas and flavors. I think filtering makes the fruit "POP". With time in the bottle, filtered wines gain in body.
