Mystical Chain Demo - Chapter 1 & Boss

I played a bit of this game but never really got far enough to make it to the end of the demo. I already knew how to beat Sikieiki though i made a ton of mistakes... :S

Mystical Chain has been compared to Super Smash Bros. by many people. I will not compare it to Smash Bros since I don't see the connection. I'll just call it a platform fighting game. I'm sorta out of ideas how to describe the game. xD

Well you play as Marisa, Alice or Patchy. You can choose 2 characters and each have their own moveset. The main idea behind the game is making chains/combos. Use one character to knock around the enemy, switch to the other character to continue, and then rinse and repeat.

That's the main idea behind the game. I sorta suck at comboing but that's probably since I don't know how to do all the moves yet and haven't touched this game much. ^^;;

The official games are more interesting. This fan game has at least some interesting boss fights from what I've seen.

from a touhou game i would EXPECT her to be in it, being the a character and all. sheech

besides i would more then like for the other characters have their own fangames. ive already seen a few good ones without ever choosing reimu.

and just an FYI i do not like reimu that much. :P

Reimu? In a fangame? You're kidding, right? Marisa and Alice are the spotlight in a lot of games that don't involve Reimu. Just cause she's the bestwhatever character in the main games doesn't mean she has to be in every fangame out there.

just marisa, alice, and patchy? i would expect reimu in there since she is in every touhou game, but i guess this is to put marisa in the spotlight.

(good thing for me since i like marisa and alice)

When people say this is like Smash Bros, I believe they mean Super Smash Flash, because thats set up the same way as this is.

I dont believe Mugen should have gotten a thumbs down since he said this game was Epic.

I, too, say this game is Epic.
