Well this is a collection of screenshots on a project i've been doing for quite a while on RPG Maker XP.

I'm also doing a project on RPG Maker VX but that's going to take a while since i know what game i'm going to make out. [Let's just say it's based off a RPG Tsuruku 5 (RPG Maker 2) PS2 Test Project]

Music Used: Last Battle 3 RPG Maker XP

Sept 19 2009- Added Annotations to this but only to the new screenshots.

  • How do you take these screenshots?

  • @soras204

Basically i use the print screen key to take each screenshot on full screen mode. Then i go on MSpaint and paste them then i save them.

After that i use windows movie maker to add the screenshots as well as some music to it.

  • Nice mapping, lots of detail. But you should consider looking for some unique scripts for a tricked out menu. Also, do you know any cool and unique battle scripts I could use? I want turn based, side view of course!

  • Thanks. Well, here's to the best of both of our projects!

  • Thank you that's what i'm planning to do next actually show progress so far by video of my work.

And i hope the same for your project. So far it is very interesting.

  • That would be awesome! Have fun, and I look forward to more future videos of your work! :D

  • Ah thank you besides i'm hoping i can use music from the other rpg maker series.

  • Well that just makes me even more interested. A game using the RTP OST. That sounds good, and truthfully, different.

  • Thanks the music is actually LastBoss03 one of the default BGM. I decided to use it since not many people use the default BGM for their projects.

  • Yep. I'm always interested in other people's Rpg Maker work. I work the programs myself. Your screenshots alone have grabbed my attention, and curiosity. Nice music choice as well I might add.
