@Jhyred probably cause its a single turbo instead of the twins
-
As in less stress on your turbo means less heat, means cooler air, meaning more power for your psi. And a non-cooked engine bay.
-
@Jhyred yea my TT is 340 dyno tuned lol
-
i am at 373hp on my rx7 with stock ported twins and suporting mods and only 12psi
why is this car so low in hp?? but still 313hp is 313hp
-
nice car buddy! Sounds like you need to upgrade those bushings. haha. Steve Kan is the man!
-
just to give you a heads up man, the stock turbos were horribly reliable (even though a boost rotary isnt really reliable to begin with). The sequential turbo is still a viable set up with better turbos, but big single turbos is where most of the rotary guys up here in COS go.
-
yes they can, quite easily
-
Not to mention all of the RUBBER vacuum lines placed around that manifold for the turbo control system. I refuse to believe it was the engineers fault, more like the bean counters.
-
yes but im saying it would be around 400hp if he had other engine mods...
only 313whp??
nice ride tho
but some 7's can make 313 off the base turbos cant they?

Yep. And the stock twin turbo turns the engine bay into an oven.
Also, running a larger turbo at lower boost is less stressful on the turbo itself, rather than pushing those little pea shooters to their limit.
