  • @GooglFascists Sibelius stopped composing, but that didn't mean that he never loved music as much as, say, Tchaikovsky. Maybe it was the commercial side of things that he came to dislike.

  • HE SURE WAS CUTE!

  • when i was at fairfield boys high school in the 70' i played the clarinet' but gave it to chase girls i wish i had stuck to it so cool the liquorice stick has no other sound but its own the sound of the gods.

  • As great and enjoyable as Artie Shaw's music is, and as good a

clarinet player as he was, he didn't have a love for music like, say

Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong or Jack Teagarden, who played

their instruments til practically their last breath.

No, Artie Shaw "finished" his tour on the clarinet in his late 40's,

laid the instrument that had given millions so much enjoyment

down, and never picked it up again.

The other half of his life, (he lived to his 90s), Shaw did other

    things. Sad.
