@jmd11185 i've noticed that too with Brent. He just goes low when Zach and Eric goes high.

@benwhyme I'm still not convinced he can still sing the old songs. They used to be one of the best live bands but I showed them to my uncle live and had to eat my words recently because Brent let the backup vocals do most of the work for him.
-
@jmd11185 you seem to forget that the corporate guys were the one that said they'd be lucky to sell 10,000 records....Shinedown makes all their albums different, it's not going to be like the last 3 albums so get excited and wait.

@SktRat4life couldn't agree more, but that old attitude isn't there. Unfortunately, looks like they sold out to radio...
-
@SktRat4life Agreed, but their newer stuff still feels natural and personal... If you take a look at Brent's life, especially his drug addiction that he finally left behind, you'll understand that the new stuff is more positive and all his energy flows into the music... I'm totally looking forward to their new album, but still I hope, that they go back to their roots a little more, because, just like you, I like their old stuff much better...

@SktRat4life its called going radio my friend :) they wanted more money so they played what would get them on the radio more.
-
@jmd11185 Surgery's that remove pollips and nodes, basically callouses that form on your vocal cords from singing the way he does
-
@Annonymus121 really, like what?

@ROLIfromGER yep its messed up how they did jasen...oh well hes with FUEL NOW!

i think shinedown should really stick to playing there older stuff live. It's better. And I bet anyone could agree with that. There new stuff is just.. ehh, i don't even know. it's alright. But nothing compared to the older stuff.
