MASSIVE 11 Month Old MAINE COON Kitten

Introducing Danser my 11 month old Maine coon from the litter featured earlier last year. His father is a sleak big boned 12 Kilo giant of a cat with highly developed Maine Coon characteristics. The breeder supplied all the Maine Coons over the years to the Harry Potter films.

Are the noses of the males broader than the females?

In, fact are the heads and muzzles of the males bigger in general?

@Hammersley1967 Yes generally a fully matured male of approximate 4 to 5 years of age will have a much broaded head and muzzle than the female

@philfx Yeah! You tell them! Most people don't know that Maine Coons are not considered adults until they're what, 3 years old? Something like that, right? Totally diff. from a regular domestic house cat. If I were ever to get a purebred cat, it would be a Maine Coon (or a Ragdoll... or Norwegian Forest Cat.... the bigger and fluffier the better!) This guy (i.e. yours), is a SPECTACULAR Maine Coon specimen. He has that classic lion-shaped face! What a doll!

Possibly. I would never pay for a cat - I always get mine from the CPL or other rescue centres. But that's by the by.

I have known plenty of people with cats but have never seen a Maine Coon myself or even heard of anybody who has one in this country. I'm sure you're right and they are available, but I imagine they would cost an arm and a leg. Pity, but I'm not paying one penny for my favourite moggy.
