JVC Everio GZ-MS230 Sample

Here is some sample footage taken with the GZ-MS230BU. I shot this on a recent family vacation. I am ok with the quality, not ecstatic. Its better than nothing which is what I had before. It is also better than a 3x point shoot camera with video capabilities. I feel the quality is worse than my old Sony DCR-TRV25 mini-dv cam. I will definitely be saving up for an HD quality camera. The zoom is fun though!

@2x100miljoenmiljard Well yes the video is shot in a 480i resolution and using WMM it can be published at an HD resolution. The video does not gain sharpness or quality as you say BUT by adding the extra pixels the playback quality is made better depending on the screen resolution you are watching the video on (like watching a dvd on a dvd player that upconverts it to 720p or 1080i). Some video cameras that claim to be HD automatically do this upconversion internally, its no different.

@TheBitchesHate it cant, ONLY minidv cameras can be used as webcams since they have a firewire port.
