  • Do i leave my tortise heat lamp on overnight for a tortise table?

  • i got my sulcata for 75 dollars

  • thanks man you helped men a lot

  • @carol27263 I have had mine for 2 years, (But they are older than that) I have let mine Hibernate, and it wen't pretty well. I weighed them before hibernating just incase tho. Mine are wild caught tortoises but, they still love me! I won't let my baby tortoises hibernate. As they have just been born. But, (Because I keep the babies + Adults in the same Aquriuam) I might not let them Hibernate this year. I woudn't advise you to let your's hibernate if you are not sure weither to. ;)

  • @11codeX11 Hi glad to hear someone else say the same as me. I read that they don't neet a uv lamp because it can damage there eyes, you need to give them regular sun and a heat lamp/buld, you dont need all the fancy equipment the shops try to sell you. mine is very happy and healthy the same as yours. Do you hibernate yours mine? is only 7 years old and i havn't yet.

  • I got 4 Tortoises, had them for around 3 years (Adults) and around 5 weeks for the baby tortoises (2 of them). I take them into the garden on every sunny day. And I live in England! In their tank, I just put a normal heat lamp/light in and everything is ok! There poop is fine, and they are very happy parents to 2 baby tortoises. You Don't need all of this, Just get a heat lamp, feed them correctly, have a nice big tank, and your done!

  • @shitface046 no you dont

  • do you need a license to keep a tortoise?

  • !HELP! can anyone recommend a uvb bulb for my (1 year old)REDFOOT TORTOISE. the 2 bulbs that sounded right to me were the _ _ _Watt (exo terra) SUN GLOW basking spot bulb or the _ _ _Watt infrared bulb shown in this video. Which of these 2 (or other) bulb, and which Wattage, suits my tortoise best???Thanks.(He is currently in a 20 x 14 inch rubbermaid tub (this is temporary).)
