but if u wanna do both for relitivly cheap i say go with maybe a smart parts on i think they go for 150$ than u get a new board (APE) get maybe a(SMART PARTS) freak barrel setup a HALO hopper and maybe if u dont wanna lug around the off setting weight of the steel tanl than probaly get a carbon fibre tank by GUERILLA AIR im sujesting the ion because u wanna play both altho the ion isnt the best of guns it is good for both speedball and woodsball and easy to mantain

alright so u want to do both well then do u play true woodball like going out for a couple days playing 100s of ppl or play at a feild thats has trees bukers and stuff if so it dosent matter the color of the gun the performance does now if your getting into speedball watchout cause it is very evpensive too get a good gun than upgrade it so is woodsball but not as expensive and there is a lot of gun tech stuff if u play speedball cause they are electronic markers so yeah

well my freind uses usually plays speed ball but sometime the do woodsball so i think if i get a black marker with a black barrel ill be about to go both ways if i would need to

barrels are very improtant cause they improve accuracy by a lot the better they are the more accurate and also quieter if your looking into gettin a paintball gun i have ask wich are u gettin a speedball gun aka gat or a woodsball gun let me no and i can help u out

Really, if you knew anything about paintball orphysics you'd know that a ball shooting at 280 FPs will go about the same distance no matter the marker.
By the way, the markers do not 'suck balls'.
