Live stuttgart 1993 (Harmony Breaks vhs)

Denying our restlessness
Frustrations tension eludes
The past was clean
Where thoughts were mild
The present day horrors alive

Lives within all fear
The mourning in my tears
Drown all the past
We lived beneath these years
Awaiting for the call
For all life to expire
Passive to this day
To infinity we'll fall

The light is dim before us
Shadows appear and fall
A barrage of savage ways
Only the darkness can filter through

Awaiting for the call
For all life to expire
Passive to this day
To infinity we'll fall
Lives within all fear
The mourning in my tears
Drown all the past
We lived beneath these years

  • I prefer this kind of performance than the seudo operatic shows that some bands put out this days.

This is real Heavy Metal not a bunch of guys fooling themselves thinking that because they have and orchestra and some female singers they are playing classical music.

  • How dare you post this shit here?

  • @Chupertulo more than real heavy metal.

    this is ROCK AND ROLL!

  • @pingu53 couldn't agree more.....

  • @mudcradle

he stopped growling in 1993 thats probably why

  • @chromeblack that's true, his voice really defines Paradise Lost. Still a shame the studio versions of ''As Horizons End'', ''First Light'', ''The Rise of Denial'' and some more sound way better than live, vocally atleast.

  • @calastiur I agree he seems to be really struggling in what I've seen of him performing live. But by the same token I couldn't possibly imagine PL without him, it'd feel like a totally different band.

  • This video is very nice...old doom metal to much quality. Paradise Lost rulesssssss

  • this is a really good song but it makes me think that nick holmes uses a lot of studio effects...since he can growl in studio but it seems he can't when performing live....it even sounds he's pushing it too much in studio....great song though

  • Göttersong

  • They had a bit of energy back then, ha ha. Great stuff.

  • i grew up with this band, the 90's was the decade for REAL music.
