One of the very earliest live performance of the Flower Kings, perhaps the first one ever!!!
Featuring their original lineup, with chilean drummer Jaime Salazar and Michael Stolt on bass, along with current members Roine Stolt, Hasse Fröberg and Tomas Bodin, this video shows their rendition of Stolt's clasic Humanizzimo.

Mi querido Joaquin, pues no tenia el gusto, pero bueno, por aqui ya coincidimos y pues es mas que excelente que compartas estas joyas. Gracias, yoi apenas "descubri" a FK, y pues, tuve una super reconciliacion con la musica ya de esta época, ya que soy de generacion de los clásicos del rock, y pues ya era dificil encontrar musica fresca y excelente, como la que estos maravillosos musicos nos regalan. Gracias por tus palabras, de verdad concuerdo en que los Flower Kings son de lo poco que hoy por hoy me anima en la escena musical, en verdad son maravillosos. Tuve la suerte de verlos en vivo acá en Santiago de Chile, por ahí por el año 2001, y fue uno de los mejores conciertos en que he estado, en verdad increible. Sólo espero que algun día vuelvan, y espero también que pasen por tu hermosa ciudad, que he tenido la suerte de conocer y sencillamente me cautivó.

It's definitely from 1997. Their first performances were in Sweden, in 1995. This was though, their first time in the USA performing.

This band is ok but I'm trying to find newer progressive rock bands like ppl my age in their early twenties performing now in 2011. I've found Astra and Blood Ceremony both from prog rock magazine UK. Anyone got any band suggestions?

Yeah, definitely 1997, as someone who was there filming sent it to me years ago. Their first gigs were all in Sweden, I think 1995 was the first one (I have a recording of a show from 1995). Also Froberg, the second guitarist/singer was not in the band then and only joined officially in 1997.
