Shrimper

Shrimper was our second live action film using the same Beaulieu 5008s super 8 camera (Tri-x) and a Bolex H16mm. We were still at uni when we started this film and were still learning the cameras, how to telecine and teaching ourselves how to edit. We took this film into the Honours degree and worked on it again, so it was like a work in progress (1997-2000). We filmed most of Shrimper in the same small farmhouse in Boonah where we shot Maudie and the rest in Ipswich and Brisbane.
