Jim Varney on Florence Henderson's country kitchen. This clip also has a segment with the Hager Twins who were very good friends of Jim. (1987)

With the recent passing of Jim and Jon Hager, I feel it necessary to pay tribute to them as you can plainly see how great the two entertained together.

The world misses all three of them.

  • @scutter28 I know what you mean!! I was half-expecting her to say "if you want any of these recipes, please visit our website"....

  • Damn, that looked good! He really was a multi-talented guy! Thanks for posting this gem, stonegator!!!

  • Now I want to try and invent Curry Pie...

  • He must have been such a sweet guy. Miss him so much.

  • This is so weird seeing Jim as a regualar person not as Ernest.

  • I made Jim's curry steak recipe tonight and, without Florence in my kitchen to mess it up, it turned out very good. Only thing I needed to change was to add some salt. I don't usually cook with curry, maybe some brands contain salt and that's why the recipe didn't call for it. I'll be making this recipe again for sure. :)
