Vehicle - STHS Jazz Band at Artsfest '09

The Susquehanna Township High School jazz band, directed by Bill Perbetsky, performing Ides of March's "Vehicle" at the Patriot-News Artsfest in May 2009. This opened the band's eleven-song set, which it was the last performance of the year (the last ever for the graduating seniors).

Solos:
Trumpet: Mr. Bill Perbetsky
Tenor sax: Dave Easton
Trombone: Adam Rau
Soprano and alto sax: Andrew Bowling

Performing "Groovin' Hard" and "La Suerte de los Tontos," the STHS jazz band placed third in their division at the North American Music Festival (Virginia Beach, April 2009). They received the Outstanding Saxophone Section award over all other competing jazz ensembles, and the school's choirs swept all competition.

Enjoy the show, and support the arts. Without the love and support of our families, friends, teachers, and the community, none of this would exist.

Wow..that's funny. The conductor is one of my dad's best friends. My dad grew up in PA, and we now live in Chicago. I heard a local jazz band play this, looked it up, and found this! Small, small world!
