  • "Equality is only for those who deserve it" ...WTF uncle fred! lol

  • omg i loved it when lockjaw chews the gum! so adorable!!

  • @silvermoonprod

    I see.

I got a DOS version of the game from Abandonia, I think, and emulated it using DOSBox. It had a different set of sound effects. After learning about ScummVM from an interview on the DOSBox website, I used that to run the Windows version from Mr. Seibert's website and got the exact same sound effects as you did in this video.

  • @HeliosExeunt I'm not sure what to tell you; I definitely used DosBox. I'm not sure if this helps solve the mystery, but I think (maybe?) instead of using the downloads from Mr. Seibert I actually just grabbed the files off of my real copy of the game which always used those sfx, so I guess it's the Windows version. We still have it lying around the house.

  • @HeliosExeunt I was using just regular DosBox.

  • @silvermoonprod

Were you using ScummVM? That emulates the game as well.

  • @silvermoonprod

The sound effects in your playthrough are different from the DOS version, though, and DOSBox cannot emulate the Windows version.

  • a great game with a good sense of humor.

  • I loved playing this game!
