Ignaz Holzbauer (1711-1783)
'La Betulia liberata' (1760/1774)

There's not much info about this work out there
but I got the impression that the only score that
survives is from the 1774 revival, how much it
differs from the original - nobody knows.
The end here may already be the beginning of the
first accompagnato but I didn't feel like including
it - and there is nothing you can do about it ;)
The singers are mostly unknown (in one
case even Google can't find any info at all)
but they are all rather good so don't hesitate
to watch my next uploads.
Conductor: Heinz-Rüdiger Drengemann

Ah, y aqui esta Holzbauer haciendo de las suyas una vez mas. =)
This dude had real, natural talent... he should REALLY get a lot more recognition than he does.
