  • I don't agree that it is "emotionless"

I believe there is a certain point in which you don't have to show emotion to let it out. especially playing a ballad. I dunno, that is just my point of view on things...

  • Mattotten just too beautiful. It's great playing that great without it, seemingly,

hurt you. I wish I had everything you ever recorded.

A Jazz lover from hillbilly country.

  • you don't need to make facial expressions to play good guitar . he's playing beautiful music with his ears, fingers and his heart . he's not playing guitar with his face ! sheesh !

  • To play any decent jazz guitar, you have to be emotionless, to let the music shine through, unaffected by the inner feelings of the musician

  • @tbonechs2010 this is emotionless playing, he's not even smiling, or getting sad at the sad bits, what's wrong with you Matt, are you some kind of genius guitar robot?

  • Matt Otten is a virtuoso, no doubt about it

  • @tbonechs2010 you're right. what a lot of people do not understand is that music STARTS as an idea. secondly, we are able to sing it, and thirdly we are able to play it. that is the natural order of things, it's as simple as that. it's impossible to see the emotion on an idea within someone's head, and the people that "need" to see the emotion aren't looking for music they are looking for entertainment. this is why the whole music industry as a whole BAFFLES me. so much false ideals of music.

  • @tbonechs2010 realy true

  • Heeeeeeeerlijk!!!!!!!

  • One of the best versions I've heard...great man!
