IMHO, our Lord came to us and walk in our shoes and suffered as human. Remember all that he did, how he eat with sinners, and how the high priests look at him.....
This priest is addressing the people of the Bronx in their language, and walking on their shoes so the can start to feel Jesus thru him.
When you look at him, try to do it as one of the folks form the Bronk waiting in line for a plate of soup does it.

First off, peace be with you. Secondly, for a priest, I give this man the same grade you gave him for a bassist. He's reaching out in a place that needs it badly and all the while, he's in love with the Eucharist. He's out there, he's at the forefront, like a true disciple should be. Reverence isn't lost when you rap, the man's knees are dirty, I can gaurantee you that. Here he is using his gifts to praise the Lord, how are you using your gifts to praise God?
