Minecraft - Working Portcullis/Gate Tutorial

Isn't much of a tutorial, just lay it out how it is in the video and it will work.

The height of the fence in this video is 10 blocks, the maximum height you could have with this design is 11. So whatever the height you want, remember to leave a 2 block space at the top or bottom between the fence and the sand/piston.

Sticky pistons for bottom layer and top layer. Normal pistons for between layers.

How do you get the 2nd layer of pistons on the bottom to activate, i've copied you're design but i seem to have missed something as i can only get the sticky pistons to activate i haven't tryed the top pistons yet.
