It is funny how many so called martial artists say such negative comments. I do not know where or with whom Casey trained w after 1993 however she is quite versatile in many aspects of the martial arts. Showmanship katas forms etc even in fun demostration of self defense. In the early 90's with Grand Master Roger Jones who trained under I believe if I remember right Gm Smith who trained under Gichin Funicoshi sorry on spelling guess there is always one who thinks he is it.

@kmerathaetra of course it is staged =))

@javiersaravia so true.... at the school i trained at, each time you went to class it was a strenuous workout, so after waiting a year (or maybe more) to attain the next rank, your belt can get worn, dirty & tattered real quick!

@OldSkoolKarate ..This is totally epic. =)D

@OldSkoolKarate He raised his arm at the last moment and got hit in the forearm, you can see how he has both arms raised during the break-fall. Nice Demo just the same, although screaming is not my thing!

Fake nonsense for pleasing the crowds, I mean come on (1:15), a slap! What the hell. Half the strikes are only hitting clothing and she keeps screaming to hide the fact this is a show. I don't doubt that there is skill invovled here but I am pretty disgusted at a Martial contest and art being corrupted into a pseudo wrestling match to please a bunch of spectators.
For the love of god he's hardly even fighting back.

@theneil100 vice versa mate!
It is fake, guys. It is a staged fight. Granted, some of those hits...especially the last bo strike...were real in order to add believability to the performance. The guy had a bruise the size of a basketball for a good week or two afterwards...that bo strike at the end was entirely new to the series "so they would win". He is lucky he didn't die from it.

Do you know the attacker? I always wondered whether he really got struck at the end or if it was some sort of stage trick. Man, if he really got hit like that..... that's insane.
