I fail to see your entire point here, are you just saying "It's a show for little girls."? Are you trying to get a reason why Bronies enjoy it so much? I can give you some information:

Don't feel embarrassed, watch an episode or two, continue if you like it, the Brony community is surprisingly supportive for each other as well.

Not just references, all forms of comedy are in the show.

Come on, it's adorable.

I don't have a problem with My Little Pony, I don't have a problem with fans of My Little Pony. My point is that bronies are way too loud. One of the loudest fanbases ever. Ponies even took over the internet for a little while, with pictures and memes, and videos and music and things. Don't get me wrong, it's great to contribute to your fandom with art and stuff. But, for a while it was all over the place. You have to admit, that does seem a bit obsessive.

I don't see why you specifically flag it as a little kid's show, I don't see why some adults couldn't learn some of the lessons these episodes contain. As well as teens. These are all important life lessons! So, about your point on the Pokemon video game, there are also toys and figures sold for My Little Pony, and I agree that they're mostly targeted for the younger audiences, but give it a break, why can't we have fun too?

yes i mean let's face it: liking spongebob at age 30 would be considered weird, liking dora past age 15 would be considered weird, and to some people liking mlp past any young age makes you weird. I'm not a brony but i still support them. heck, it seems like a lot of bronies are great at making music!
