Punk didn't come out of Britain. Hasil Adkins was doing this wonderful stuff in the '50s. He sent tapes all the world, and punk was born two decades later. Hell he even sent a tape to Nixon who replied "Thank you for bringing these selections to my attention" I love to think of Nixon jamming out to Hasil.

Hasil Adkins is like one of them high powered cruise missiles well under the radar.
You don't know about or see him, but when you do...KEWHUPPPHHHYYYUPHHYY!
