How do you set it PUBLIC? Furthermore how do you send your fan page link to your wall? I have been at this on and off for over a week, I can't understand why such a basic feature - e.g.: having the page visible to people other than myself - is so fucking hard to sort!

@systemcontroleng - actually, you dont have to set it to public because when you create it, it will automatic will be to public. to let your friends know your page, just post you page link in your wall status or your can suggest to your friends.

ok i created a fan page yesterday under the entertainment selection, but i dont know how to "publish" or make the page viewable by my friends, they say its just a blank page any suggestions

Hey guys check this out. Facebook announced via the developer forum that Facebook Pages now need to be authenticated in order to have landing tabs. This means any new visitor to your Facebook Page will not be able to land on a custom tab unless you have greater than 10,000 fans or the Page administrator has worked with an ads account representative. This is a massive blow to smaller companies (or individuals) looking to build their presence through Facebook Pages.
