@Model192 Ppl need to learn the terminology is all.... when you remove a stock air box and drop in an intake pipe with a K&N or something, it's just a (short) ram intake. It ain't sucking in cold air, to be sure, it's aspirating hot engine bay air, BUT it's more free-flowing and less restrictive. For a real CAI you shouldn't even be able to see the cone/cylinder filter; it should be tucked away out of sight, close to the ground. Maybe where a charcoal canister used to be, like on my Corrado!

My Stock AUDM dc2r from 80km/h onwards bet a 5.7litre v8. Who said these cars cant do v8's? Id hate to think how much i would have bet him by from a launch start...

@Cisco121490 It was obviously a joke. The guy has a fucking hot air intake. Derrrp. They buy an "intake" over stock intake, and it's always metal, and it's always right inside the engine compartment. Why? Because they're smart. Good thing for me GM left a hole so I can shove stick in the nice little vented box they put in front of the body just for CAI.
