Is this Ultra Bass active or passive? The new ones are passive (I think).

The new Ultra Basses have a more traditional headstock giving it more balance. All in all this is a great bass at a reasonable price. Schecter bass are one of music worlds best kept secrets.

The balance isn't the greatest due to the big headstock (hence why they changed it in 06') But if you play using a wider, and lower hanging strap, you can barely notice it.

the bass souds great, and looks 99% perfect, the only thing they should put on it, are big block pearloid inlays...
