Choose to Refuse: DC Metro Searches

In October, 2008 DC Metro officials decided to enact a new policy to allow cops to randomly search passenger bags. The government claims that this new policy is needed for security. But its clear that it violates our individual rights. Rights that are protected by the Constitution. If we stand idly by, whats next? Random searches on public sidewalks and parks? We freedom fighters have to remain vigilant. Which is why one afternoon, Bureaucrash joined with reps from Flex Your Rights and other groups to get the word out.

if we start getting to high and mighty, ciops just wont be around. there will be more jobless people and definetly more criminals, and more criminals means more stuff getting stolen. not to mention prisons will be empty and security guards will have nothing to guard.
