Shanti Avedna Sadan Service with Love

Shanti Avedna Sadan is India's first Cancer Hospice. Started in Mumbai, it has branches in Goa and Delhi. Dr Luzito de Souza leading Cancer Surgeon of India founded this hospice 25 years ago, in answer to the cry of pain of terminal cancer patients. 'Service with Love' is what drives Shanti Avedna that has at its core the Sisters of the Holy Cross Congregation. The Sadan is run FREE of charge and open to all communities, to the rich and the poor as well. The Sadan has cared for 20,000 patients with love and care over the last 25 years.

my aunt sr.nicolette is a nun serving in one of these hospices in rajasthan, jaipur called as avedana ashram.she is called by people as jaipurs mother theresa. shes the most amazing person i have ever seen in my entire life.
