Glass Blowing in Venice

http://www.Glass blowing is a Venetian traditional art which one day will probably die out because of the 10 to 15 year apprenticeship people have to serve to become a master. I highly recommend it to people as a souvenir as it will last you a life time and will then be passed from generation to generation.

I just finished a Trafalgar Tour, Traditional Europe and had the chance ot go out to the island of Murano which is the home of Venetianglass blowing.

It was amazing to actually visit the factory with my group and will be doing it on all my tours from now on.

Wow..that is absolutely amazing...he makes it look SO easy! Well, I guess after 15 years of training he would get quite good at it...
