Heavy Surf from February 2010 storm, Cape Cod

This was the scene at Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, on the Outer Beach of Cape Cod, at high tide following the severe storm of Feb. 25, 2010. The footage was shot from the dune directly overlooking the surf, and you can tell from the spray hitting the camera. Just two weeks earlier, it was a gentle slope out to the beach, but now there's an instant drop-off of at least 7 feet. From the Henry Beston Society: www.henrybeston.org.
