Watched the Swedish trilogy and Noomie Rapace was brilliant. The girl in the latest version is good, but doesn't hold a candle to Noomie. I liked the Swedish films better, because the actors were more believable. The cast here is great, but few films ever best the original.

I'm from Sweden, and I really like the original movies because they're "supposed to be" in swedish. Noomi Rapace was great as Lisbeth, and I like that the Swedish actors don't all look so perfect. They look like actual people. I like this one as well, but the swedish is my favourite.

@akissy Mainly just a lot more can fit into a book. If they made TGWTDT scene by scene into a movie, it would probably be more than 10 hours, and be boring as hell since you can't tell what the characters are thinking.
