@ChibiTails In Subterranean Animism, Reimu or Marisa will enter the underground with Youkai assist (two ability on each Youkai). This is the Yukari assist version, where Reimu will be able to use Yukari gap ability (release all button, press left or right twice on the corner of screen to enter the gap, in game). Yukari's ability also enabled Reimu to use a dimensional shift as her bomb to pass all projectiles while still gaining graze point (in game), see 06:19 for the activation

@ChibiTails The main characters always have to fight BY THEMSELVES through the big boss of a game and their battle butlers so I think it kind of evens out in the end.
